1. Prada was thinking of Audrey when she designed this collection

  2. A new look at Fendi

Can the shoes be any more killer?

I fell in love with this one skirt I saw about a month ago on this lady and this is the closest I’ve come to finding something like it. Maybe it’s the angle.

Oh do I love purple and knit wear. Yays!

  3. Jil Sander

Welcome to the world of colors and flowers!

I love the long skirts and dresses, not just love but like l o v e. The color contrast and the silhouettes are amazing. She’s ingenious.

My favorite outfit of the collection <3

  6. First thing NYFW

Shoes (Sunny’s) filmed once I hit the corner of 10th and 22nd. I cross the street pretended to not notice. He asks me to walk so he can film more. I walk. It’s for NYFW in general. I hope it makes it in.

    Arrived at 11:45. Still semi-warm.

Met Rose at 11:50. Getting colder.

Started the postcards at 12:05. Colder still.

12:00 Photographers, media, interviewers (Eva Chen-Teen Vogue, Hilary-telegraph.co.uk, Andrew Bevans-Teen Vogue, etc.) arrived.

More guests started to arrive. Lost track of time.

Saw these 4 super Taiwanese people on the sidewalk. First though: Jason Wu’s parents? And yes, they were and 2 other girls. Jason looks exactly like his mom and his mom was carrying his Miss Wu bag! ( The smaller one I believe) and she just looked so adorable and like a typical Taiwanese high society mother. The fur coat and all. I so wanted to talk chinese to them, but we have nothing in common…

More guests arrive. Hands start freezing. Toes already frozen.

More guests come and I finish my postcards.

    I go talk to Rose.

Some man asks to take my photo. He was from Harper’s Bazaar. My legs looked chubby…He said photos will be up tomorrow. Maybe I’ll make it in?

Anna arrives. The cameras go crazy. Anna just acts like Anna.

    Some more guests.

Nina arrives. Cameras go crazy for the second time. Photographers leave.

    Lights dimmed.

    Show started.

    Doors close.

I leave. The taxi takes my frozen body home.

I can’t believe I didn’t become friends with the guards and have them allow me to stand and watch the show or snuck in or act like I belonged inside. I can’t believe I was so close yet so far, once again. But I should just relax and glad I was there, SO EXCITING!! :) And too many names slip my mind which, yea, kinda sucks.

  7. Another note

There were so many Japanese attendees at Jason’s show! Perhaps, he expanding to open stores in Japan, in Asia?

  8. Haha, I spy myself in the background!

This was a photographer I saw right before I left the site! He was trying to get a picture of James Scully, (who’s name and face I JUST recalled, ugh, so annoying). It’s funny to see all the people I saw, whom I didn’t know about, being blogged, tweeted, and e-talked about!

  9. The American Designer with a Twist

Nail color like mine? But I guess his is a little more brown? a bit more orange and yellow?

I can’t over how gorgeous this entire look looks! I can’t believe his talent. Amazing! And, I DID mention the great make-up this year right? Here’s a great look at the eyes!

And the bag? Speechless. Utterly speechless. (In a good way!)

This is why I love Jason Wu. Gawd.

  10. I liked the first Pattern

Seemed to me Rachel Comey this season was very bold in patterns, wait let me emphasize VERY. There were so many different prints and patterns and it all seemed very different from the other collections that had come out. There was much mixing of different textures, which I want to describe as rough edged (not a dirty dark grundge) with a sophistication, no or more like a cozy sophistication. Either way, my point is the different textures in the a look.

I’m writing this as I look through the collection and I find myself wondering if I really like this season. And then I land on this look which I love.

And from then on, it seems completely different, a whole different aesthetic and emotion and essence. Something I entirely like. And then after maybe 5 looks, it goes back to prints. Which I will say is better put together than the first half but still, I’m not too sure about the prints.

Overall, I must say there are some clean sophisticated looks put together. Something, I personally, am more of a fan of but then there were the prints…
